Retrouvaille for Hurting Marriages
Retrouvaille is a ministry for hurting marriages. The program is offered in English or Spanish in 150 countries worldwide. Retrouvaille is a peer ministry, a ministry of hope. The team couples, by sharing their own lives, give other couples hope. What is important is that struggling couples are willing to work to keep their marriages going.
The word Retrouvaille™ (pronounced re-tro-vi with a long i.) is a French word meaning rediscovery. The program offers tools needed to rediscover a long marriage relationship. Thousands of couples headed for cold, unloving relationships or divorce have successfully overcome their marriage problems by attending the program.
The Retrouvaille Program consists of a weekend experience combined with a series of post sessions over 6 weeks. It provides the tools to help put your marriage in order again. The main emphasis of the program is on communication in marriage between husband and wife. It will give the opportunity to rediscover each other and examine your lives together in a new and positive way.
Retrouvaille is a ministry of the local church. In southeastern Wisconsin, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee has partnered with the diocese of Green Bay to endorse the program and to enable Retrouvaille to operate. Please contact Betsy and Willie Gonwa 414-259-0565 for more information.
Retrouvaille has been proven to be helpful for many couples. Surveys show that approximately 70% of participating couples have been significantly helped by the program.
