Archbishop Listecki's address to the Evangelization Summit

Archbishop Listecki addresses a gathering of parish leaders from across the Archdiocese discussing his vision and the need for evangelization activity.

Archbishop Listecki's presentation examines the gospels, Vatican II – especially in the document Lumen Gentium (“the light of nations”), Pope Paul VI, Blessed John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI reminding us that our main mission as a church is to evangelize; to “make disciples of all nations.” The Church today is guided by the same Holy Spirit the disciples received at Pentecost. We continue to evangelize through RCIA, by confronting obstacles such as relativism and subjectivism and by reaching out those who have not heard of Jesus or His Church, our own communities and ourselves.
