Burlington Catholic School is seeking a passionate, qualified candidate to be our new Assistant Principal. Burlington Catholic is a K3-8 school serving over 400 students in Burlington, WI and its surrounding cities. 

As Assistant Principal, you will report directly to the Principal and work collaboratively with our Administrative team - Principal, Assistant Principal, and Business Manager to ensure the continued success of BCS for years to come. This position is full time beginning in July 2026. As Assistant Principal of BCS, you would also be eligible for benefits including insurance (medical, dental, and vision), funds for continuing education if needed, 403B match, PTO and Vacation time, and more. 

Qualifications / Experience include but are not limited to: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Education with at least 5 years of experience; Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and/or School Leadership preferred (or a willingness to gain licensure)
  • Leadership experience overseeing multiple people
  • Experience working with children of many ages
  • Practicing Catholic preferred
  • Strong Communication Skills (both written and verbal)
  • Knowledge and experience with curriculum, instruction, and assessment/data analysis
  • Grant writing / search experience
  • Willingness to coach teachers as well as assist with evaluation when necessary
  • Willingness to handle student behaviors / implement and support our behavior policies and PBIS
  • Special education experience preferred (or a willingness to learn more for IEP/ISP support)
